Writer, Journalist, & AP Professor

Kacie holds an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University, specializing in Social Justice Journalism & Media Law. Her journalism and creative writing are featured in nonprofit newsrooms and publications across the nation, including Pulitzer Prize winning outlets.

Kacie lives in East Tennessee with her fiancée, Anna, and a menagerie of pets. When not writing, reporting, or teaching, she's most likely at the tattoo studio, barefoot in the garden, or chasing around her nieces and nephew.
